These pages are designed to give you more information about me, my background, training and practice.  I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and am in the full-time practice of Psychotherapy and Psychiatry.  I have two offices, one in Redwood City and one in San Jose, California.  I want you to know I am dedicated to providing you with quality care.

The individual psychotherapy I do in my practice is based on the Jungian model of analysis.  In that regard, I utilize traditional Jungian techniques including dream analysis, active imagination,  Sandplay therapy and deeper analytic work. Although I am not a certified analyst,  I have studied Jung for 20 years and have done individual consultation with analysts from the C.G. Jung Institute in San Francisco and from the Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland.  For those therapists who are working toward their certification in Sandplay, I am a teaching member of the STA/ISST and would be happy and honored to accompany you on your Sandplay process. I have done individual consultation, group consultation and many seminars with the leading experts in Sandplay from all over the world.

I also maintain a limited medication management practice for selected psychotherapy patients with stress, anxiety, depression, and OCD.   I do not offer services to patients under age 25 or to patients with ADD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, active substance abuse requiring detox or other organic disorders.  I no longer manage disability cases and/or workman's compensation cases.  All of my work is outpatient.

If you would like more information to see if my services are appropriate for you, please feel free to phone my confidential central message center at (650)368-2573 or you may send me an email through the link below.  I am happy to discuss your needs and explore a working relationship with you.
